What is the Dolingo Test?

Duolingo Duet or DET stands for Duolingo English Test as an online English test. This test became more popular in the Corona era because it is an online language test. Like the Taql and Computer IELTS tests, Dolingo tests the four skills of Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing. The interesting thing about this test is that the questions in this test are based on Adaptive Adaptation technology, which means that the difficulty of the questions is determined based on the candidate’s ability. One of the things that made this test popular is its low cost and fast measurement without the need to attend Duolingo test centers. If you use this test to get admission to American universities, you can take this test twice in each 30-day course.

What does it mean for the Dolingo test to be adaptive?

The adaptability of the Dolingo test means that your next question is determined by how well you performed in the previous questions. So, if you answer the initial questions correctly, your next questions will be harder, and if you answer the question incorrectly, your next questions will be easier until you can answer them correctly again. This process will continue until the end of the test.

DUOLINGO test rules and regulations

Since you take this test at home and Duolingo must make sure that you do not cheat on this test, it has many rules that we will discuss below.

Using plug-ins or add-ons such as Grammarly in the browser is not allowed.

You can only use one email address or Dolingo account to perform the test, and if you have a second account, it will be blocked.

Keep eye contact with the computer screen. If you need to look at the keyboard to type, do not worry; Because test monitors and automated systems know the difference between a simple look at typing and staying focused on a computer screen while typing, looking at a keyboard to type will not affect your decision to test.

You can take this test twice in a month, which means that if you have a problem for any reason, such as technical problems with the Internet, you will have another chance in the same month.

The use of iPads, tablets and other smart devices is not allowed to perform the Dolingo test.

The use of headphones and ear pods is prohibited.

You are not allowed to use your phone or mobile phone.

Your test will be cancelled if you talk on the phone or take notes while taking the test.

Do not leave the test page in your web browser for any reason.
